    Hey mate,

You're better at this stuff than I am. I'm a little unsure where my car sits. Benny mentioned it would be in Class 4. I haven't seen anywhere in the handbook that bans lexan windows from class 3. Everything else seems to be OK.

class 4? it is for "highly modified" vehicles... same as Sports Sedans:

    http://www.jscc.asn.au/CAMS_document...cle%20regs.pdf

the rules for "sports sedans" are here:

    http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/02_...up_3d_q409.pdf

see 3.7 (iii) for detials of windows...

but class 3 is for "improved Production" which your car might possibly go beyond...

    here are the rules:

    http://www.camsmanual.com.au/pdf/02_...up_3j_q409.pdf

i am pretty sure your areo packacge would put you out of class 3

lol cool. the main question i had was im unsure of which class i can enter while still being competitive. i guess alot of us would love to race, but the mods we have done already may put us in a class in which we stand no chance.

anyways the main mods i have on my s2k are:

    final drive
    exhaust
    coilovers
    aftermarket motor mounts
    aftermarket clutch and flywheel
    drive shaft spacers
    aftermarket radiator and rad hoses
    intake snorkel

    any advice is much appreciated!

yeah i think the only thing that makes it class 3 is the FD?

    the class 2 rules state:

"Non-standard gear and differential ratios are permitted only when
available as an option for the model concerned from the original
    manufacturer, or it’s authorised supplier."

    Hey Dave,

Can you tell us a bit more about SuperSprint?! Or put some links to some more of your articles?

How many cars are on the track at the same time? Are you still mainly racing against the clock, or is it 'watch your rearvision mirror continually!!'

I've done 5 track days - so am worried my experience may be a bit light on!

But that said - I am pretty tempted too!!
