Just wondering how convertible owners deal with the problem of bugs and mozzies and the like... because just tonight I was at Seven Hills Mobil filling up with my windows down, and in the time it took me to walk to the attendant and come back, my car was full of mozzies and bugs both inside and on the outside. And they wouldn't go away

i don't have a problem :S although maybe i have an exhaust leak into the cabin, and the fumes kill them off

No McDonalds, no food, etc... no idea why they came into my car but they were swarming the servo. I guess I should've listened to my gf who said they'll go inside my car (but I presumed no food meant no bugs would want to come in)... grr...

i was at a servo in green valley the shell on cowpasture road with the hungry jacks
omfg they have the most massive mozzies / bugs there they are infested with em cos they are attracted to the high bay lighting in the servo. rolled in with the car and the car had the biggest bugs i was too scared to fill up the car lol

Bugs have never been an issue in the MX5.
yeah, they fly into the car, but they fly out within a second.
once you start driving they all get sucked out anyway.

Dude, its the white car. Mozzies and bugs are attracted to white. I suffer the same problem.
top down + speed = bugs out
But it was horrible driving through dural yesterday, so many damn bugs buzzing around you when you're at the lights
stopped at round about under a tree and a huntsman dropped on my mates lap. fark he went mental lol.
