one thing ive noticed after being in the mechanical trade for over 10 years is that 90% of the time tools tend to break when they are misused

i use Snap On tools 90% of the time at work and only issues I've had are when i have done something i shouldn't have.

Using a 3/8 swivel head snap on ratchet to undo wheel nuts is always going to end in something breaking.

Or using a screw driver as a pry bar or chisel

or using non impact sockets on impact guns
Ive gone through 4 Snap On impact sockets in the last 2 years, have used Blue Point impact sockets for longer without fail.

So far my Genius Impact Sockets are holding up wheel...good press tools also..Hehehe.

I snapped a Genius 21mm not long after I bought it, got it replaced. Havn't bought any Snap-on sockets yet I havn't been able to justify the pricetag, all mine are sidchrome, and my allen key sockets and 3/8 torx bits a Koken and have been holding up very well.

What impact driver bits does everyone use?..They always break on me...apparently they all just twist and snap eventually.

I've got Genius, and some ABW. Seem to do the job fairly ok. Got a Snap-on 1/2 uni joint thats crap, need a better one.

I use T&E and koken, and for that iffy bolt i always keep a set of supercheaps cheapest to hammer on. I would be more concerned with the ability/performance of the driver/gun.
