Oh noes another eg?! B18C with a T?

So heres my civic.. ive whored it out across a few forums (mlga auslancer ozhonda) but i like the big range of cars on this forum so i thought i might make a half assed attempt to join this community.

i got this car with no mechanical knowledge at all with the hope of learning how to do the basics like oil changes clutches suspension brakes etc. with the hope of paying someone else to do the conversion i never saw myself doing all the work myself and doing engine mods / wiring / turbo conversion and attempting and failing at painting like i have.

i just installed the turbo kit and now working out the bugs, still on stock injectors untill my 440s arrive in the next week so rev limit has been dropped down to 6000 rpm and the fuels turned up rich as fk so i dont make it go bang byt the time i get onto the dyno.

but of cause powercruise is coming my tuner is booked out until then so wont be able to get a tune until the end of the month.

also should have my 15x8 6ULs coming this month as well once mx5centre ship them out.

so anyway here it is and some info about it, will update as more things start happening

looks so much nicer with grill and lip painted. I see you still haven't put the seals around your window.

Man, I have no hope keeping up with you know you have a turbo. So are you planning to upgrade those brakes!? wtf!? >_<

Let us know when you down this way again

I've always wondered why people focus on getting heaps of power out of these cars.

Surely the chassis on these cars respond well to good suspension and responsive engine mods?

Give me an honest answer to how it actually goes with the turbo kit, i've got visions of it being too powerful for it's own good.

Great work either way. Especially doing it all yourself

no idea how it goes because its not tuned yet. but with way to much fuel and hardly any ignition it is borderline traction in second on the shitty bob jane 185 wide tyres (feel the tyres startting to give way but is still revving smoothly not going straight to limiter).

I have my 6uls coming next month, with toyo r1rs wrapped around them i see it being perfect. of cause having to feather first and second but third and fourth should get up and boogie.

keep in mind its only a small turbo on about 9 psi on the stock engine, will not be a power house probably only about 220ish horsepower.

Brakes will come after tune / tyres, not sure what way to go because i just forked out for brand new rims so not keen on changing stud pattern. maybe eg6 all round with decent pad / rotors up front? at the moment its not under braked at all with the stock rotors and redstuff pads up front but after the tune i see me needing bigger brakes.

Lol I have the same rough setup, eg sedan, b18c, turbo kit, it makes just over 180kw atw, alot of fun but traction is a problem. The look on peoples faces is worth the money spent

today while giving it a good thrashing im getting the same problem a member got on this forum with the tacho going nuts around 5000 rpm onwards.. hopefully its not causing any power problems and i can get it fixed pretty easy... not sure if its making me lose power because its already sluggish at the moment untuned... guess i gotta wait and find out
