Welcome to the joys of never being able to find parts. Particularly tyres. Looks pretty clean though, so you'll save a bit in not having to replace everything.

Also, I can't remember if these things have a siamesed intake port, so if you ever want to replace the carb, you can just find a single barrel job from something else and adapt that. If they still have individual intake ports, then find a single 40mm sidedraught.

tyres haven't been too bad - going to upgrade to 13" mags (13x5.5 - 145/50SR13's) or something like that... less than $100 per tyre...

Where are you getting those? Myself and a few mates have been looking around for 13" tyres that small and 145/70R13 is the smallest available locally. Even then, they're still 1" bigger in rolling diameter than the standard 145/70R12.

Keith 4 Wheels at Springwood in Brisbane are able to get heaps of varying sizes... they weren't the cheapest tho... Bob Jane @ Toombul in Brisbane were the ones that could get me cheap wheels and tyres... if they don't have it they can import it and they're good on prices...

this is at least what they've told me... when it comes time to purchasing and actually putting them on the car it may be a different story, but in theory its sound... other than those 2 places, every other tyre mob i went to hadn't even heard of a subaru sherpa or kei cars...

Straight out of Japan. Try looking for early Mazda wheels, since they're also 110PCD, along with KE1x and KE2x wheels.

I got my 13" watanabes on the sherpa now lol... and found a new clutch... turns out the carbie was a side draught too so I've used an adapter, replaced the the air cleaner and air filter set up with a Ram Flo stack filter and I had to cut a hole in the bonnet and put a scoop on to accommodate it... Sherpa's lookin mean as these days...

Ill-minded - are u in / near Brisbane and if so are you coming to the EOMM? I'm bringing the Sherpa out again, but this time looking a bit more hardcore lol... be good to park'em up together if u are / can / is / whatever lol...
