    Stretch tyre look for 19x9.5 & 19x10.5

    Hey guys

Looking at getting tyres from the states and was hoping the experts can help with choosing tyres with a stretch look. Moderate - Extreme stretch

What tyre size would yous recommend?

Don't get Federals - use Falken's or Bridgestones

    Semi Moderate
    9.5 - 225/40/19
    10.5 235/40/19

    Extreme
    9.5 215/35/19
    10.5 225/35/19

    Hectic
    9.5 205/30/19
    10.5 215/30/19

If you can find someone to fit 'Hectic' stretch then that's awesome.

depends on the width and if you want the stretch to be the same or not.
people make a higher sidewall since they put a thinner tyre on

    215/35/19 for the 9.5s
and 235/35/19s for the 10.5s is plenty of stretch..

    i have not see a 225/35/19 on a 10.5 let alone 205/30/19 on 9.5s and 215/30/19 on 10.5s

    thats fking crazy lol

Ah I see, I might go with the 40 sidewall then

Which will be more of an even stretch for the fronts of the rears are 235/40?

    215 or 225?

    Thanks guys

    Yes... speaks the truth!

I am considering swapping a pair of brand new Federals for bridgys or something?

For some reason federal make their sidewalls like 4x4 tyres?

I learnt over time, if you wanna run Federals, drop a tyre size.

I had some RE050 (or whatever the fuck they're called) 235/40's on a 10.5, destroyed those over time and then went to a 235/40 Federal, shit was rubbing my guards and the car pretty much wouldnt move without smoke billowing from the arches and the noise of constant scrubbing.

See I did drop a size and still no go... 205/40 - 17 basically no stretch on a 8" rim... doesn't seem right? I've had wider potenzas before on an 8" in 45 profile and got more stretch.

Federals are no good for stretch 110% lol

all this information may be irrelevent as yet, what car are you putting 19's on? and what size tyre is the stock tyre? the sidewalls stated above by everyone might throw you speed out majorly.

Wow u guys are nuts. I run 235 and 275 on that size rim and that's already stretched enough.

    yeah wtf....
215 on a 10.5" wide rim, you guys are nuts.
I'm pretty sure 255 will do you good for stretched on the rear. I've seen 11" wide on 275, and was bloody stretched!

just have a look around on that tyre stretch website and see what stage of stretch you actually need. Also take in to consideration stretch looks fairly wack unless the tire comes pretty close to the guards
