    My eh9 <3

    I had a 95 eg before my eh, but i was hit by a forby.

    - ride off.. -.-

    So i went out and brought this,
    ..

    I wasn't really keen on it, but i needed a car and was sick of looking at egs in terrible condition.. so i settled with this. I've made little minor changes for the time being.. i've got other plans, but i have to wait for money to be on my side.

    Some people don't like the tail lights. But i really do. lol..

    Hopefully soon i'll be getting my rims, ( the ones i have on now are from my eg and they only cost me $150 with tyres - so couldn't have really gone wrong at the time when i was rocking some hubcaps lol. )
    Thinking gold og sans, or maybe og old skools.. not completely sure.

    * Front n Rear lip.
    * Lowering a bit.
    * Spoon mirrors.
    * also considering an engine swap and manual conversion, thinking b16a maybe.
    .. Have some other things in mind but these are main priorities atm.. now just gotta wait for some money to come

    Welcome to the forum, fellow eh9 owner! Digging the tail lights, is it a spray on tint or film? And what's the extras that come with the special edition sticker?

    They are sprayed. Uh, honestly.. i've been asking myself that question for almost the whole period i've had the car.. - the guy who sold it to me said it's just got all the extra power options, but i've met people with the same features and not being special edition.. He said it had to do with the power windows, electric sunroof, power mirrors n stuff.. Who knows, he coulda just put the sticker there lol.. I'm thinking about taking them off though.. =/

    Try 6ULs, they are light and strong and you can get a good deal with tyres from JDMYard. I nearly went that package but found an awesome set on wheels on ebay and wrapped them with KU31s for about the same price.

    Hey, that's not too bad .. they are only 800 roughly without tyres though right?

    and i don't really like the look of the 6ULs..

    yeah 780 without tyres. I think i'm right in saying +25 is the best offset for a eg civic.
    i'm pretty sure they have gold ones too

    not sure about the rear lights, as it can cause alot of headache with insurance & legalities if you get rear ended, not to mention defects with the popo.
    i believe special edition means you get the Vtec-e motor, which is an economical version of the usual sohc vtec d16. someone please correct me if im wrong.

    very tidy car overall! i wouldnt mind one for a daily.

    6UL's on a eh9 would look alright. Picturing it in my head, would look good! Something you wouldnt see too often. Would look good low + front lip!

    I don't really know myself - but that sounds right - my mate has a suzuki baleno and another friend of mine was just browsing through the net and found out my car is actually cheaper on petrol..

    unless the engine is diff, I had the exact same eh9 and it was just a VTI, all the power options are standard with the VTI.... I had these tail lights, this was a bit of a before and after pic!

    personal preference though, they are very good cars, I just had an AEM SRI and a 3Aracing axleback exhaust, lowered on N1springs, very good daily, lasted me 3 years without any hassle! first owner was a mature lady, I was the 2nd, the body was immac!!! then i sold it to an international student, came to give him something a week later saw he'd made friends with a concrete pole inside mcquarie shopping centre and raped half the car....
