Very cool build mate! What is it like to drive with the tyres? Always interested to hear about tyres I haven't used.
    Cheers.

Feels great, so much much cornering grip just need an LSD. Don't have much experience with a lot of tyres, but I've used Federal 595 RSR and Kumho KU36. I would say that they are better the the KU36 but not as much dry grip as the 595 RSR. They perform well in the wet too.

    helllll yeah!!

Won't really get more power until I get cams and port the head, but it's going to be fun to build/tune.

Best of all, evil noises will come from my engine bay

    Nice one!

    Love it.

That resistor mod on your old engine is pretty common for a lot of turbo kits.
It's how they get more fuel into it.

Thanks mate. Yeah I thought it might have to do something with that, car possibly was turboed by the original owner. Could explain why the old engine had signs of overheating.

BTW, your name looked familiar. So just had a check through my business records, you ordered some speakers from me a long time ago. I'm John from www.coemaudio.com.au

I ended up getting AE101 throttle bodies using the Garage Star/T3 adapter and velocity stacks, brand new second hand.

Also had a choice of the Nozz ITB kit too for the same price, but the Garage Star/T3 was the better choice I think.
