Anyone know where to buy BBS RS replica centre caps from?

I managed to pick up a set of genuine 3 piece BBS RS wheels in 16". Only problem is that they're missing the centre caps. Does anyone know where I can get some replacements - either genuine or copy?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks Keivan, I had a look but unfortunately I didn't have much luck. I found a guy in the US, very very $$$$ and not sure he is willing to ship to Aus. Anyone else?

if you can get something that fits i can make you BBS stickers.

Ive made advan center caps with spraycan lids before, timming a circle out of the top till it fit into the groove on the wheel, came out pretty good.

i was looking at those BBS wheels on the eGay...i wasn't too keen that they'd been drilled, but nice to see someone got them...and be careful with the caps, if i remember correctly, there are a few different sizes that look pretty right that are either too big or too small...

SVD is correct, 16" came in two different forms, one with 30 bolts per wheel (based on 15" version), and the other 34 bolts (used for both 16" and 17").

You've bought genuine BBS RS so I'd suggest you buy some suitable centre collars and hexes for them, it's a worthy investment especially now that the centre collars and hexes are no longer made new by BBS. Whatever's left is all that remains!

I've bought from Racing Team Hofmann before, quick shipping and good to deal with - http://www.racingteam-hofmann.de/fel...startseite.htm

Thanks for the offer, I’ll keep it in mind! Wouldn’t mind seeing some pics, good to see someone thinking outside the box and being resourceful. That’s the kind of ingenuity that set the hot rodding scene apart from the rest, it’s also how good fabricators differentiated themselves from the norm.

    I'll check them out, Cheers.

I too was a little sceptical, but for the price they were going for I thought why not, I can refurbish/paint to my specs for a fraction of what it would cost me otherwise? Not quite sure why they have those small drill holes but that’s a good point. Thanks for the info on the centre cap sizing, I didn’t realise there were differences in the 16” screw ons! Either way the rims seem to be quite good and the seller was very helpful and genuine! Not all wheels can be redrilled, it depends on the hub design, the original PCD and lug bore, the new PCD and lug bore, etc. The lug nut needs 7 full turns worth of thread to provide enough surface to keep it from potentially pulling the heads out of the nut or off of the stud when its torque down. A proper joint design will clamp the wheel to the hub and it is that friction between the two surfaces that keeps the wheel attached. These seem to have been well looked after, so hopefully all will be ok!

Hmm I appreciate that info, wasn’t aware there were so many differences. I’d definitely prefer genuine items, after trolling the net it’s crazy to see how many sets are missing the centre caps. When they were manufactured, every set was equipped with centres, question is where did they all go? There is most likely a BBS Aladdin’s cave somewhere full of centres haha!
Thanks for the link, I’ll keep you posted on how I go.

I've seen some RS with holes drilled in. They're not used for another PCD, possibly a weight saving solution. They're definitely real though, I've never seen replicas go through the trouble of stamping things like the RS model. If I remember the ad, yours has RS006 stamped on it?

Yeah they didn’t look like they’d been drilled and refilled for PCD but even if they had; they’ve done a great job because I can’t pick it up. I asked him what the holes were for, he said he got them like that and has never had any issues.
I have no reason to believe they are replicas, they are definitely 100% genuine RS or else I wouldn't have bothered!
Here are some close ups of the stamping:

Should hopefully arrive next week from Western Australia. I'll post pics when I get them here and have had a chance to give them a little bit of a clean up!

my bad, I thought you meant just the very center, ie the type of center caps that cover the hole in the middle.... yeah itd be quite hard to fabricate a complete center cap that matches up with the spokes.....

So my cousin from Italy called to wish my family and I a Merry Christmas. I told him I was looking for a set of centre's, it turns out he has 11 complete ones that he accumulated some how when he owned a VW Golf many years ago (he's well into his 30's now). He said, he will send them if I pay postage, so they are on their way and he said if he finds it, he should have the tightening tool. Can anyone tell me if these are these correct centres for my wheels?

they are the correct centres for the BBS RS's. Question is though, which fit and which dont? You'll only know when u actually receive them and trial an error
