rolling guards?

hey all, i was wondering - what is the guards on your car as i am a newbie and would like to fit in some 19's and have that vip style look, but i probably need some opinions and suggestions and what not to really give me some backing into getting this on my vbp dc5s.

when you lower your car on 'big' rims, the top of your wheel will be more likely to hit the edge of the wheel arches. feel under there now and you will feel some metal, rolling them means, rolling this metal back so there's less chance of hitting when you lower it / go through pot holes.

VIP look aye? you shoulda got a VIP car then like an Accord or Oddysey? I always thought the integra was a Sporty look?

either get guard roller or a baseball bat/metal sign post and do it jdm option style lol

yeah i want it pimpin style lol, but without the charge speed kits, same rims for now til i find some better looking dishes. i was considering changing rear li pto the type r to give it that lower feel too.


Thing is i need to find a really good place to fit the tyres and rims in a do an alignment and all that - most importantly roll guards too. Any suggestions of a place in Syd?
Was considering going to Jetspeed and quoting? Anyone know if they are quality?

Baz, i woudlnt go to jetspeed, ive heard nothing but horror stories come from there. nothing ever fits properly, you wont be 100% happy with it and you will most likely just change them down the track. spend a bit more and get quality stuff and save yourself money later on

Yep all those factors are important... I got 18's on my teg and the first few months were painful as I had to get the guards rolled to stop the rear wheels from rubbing against the wheel arc. But if everything is done right… your car should look hot. Good luck!
