Sorry for the HiJack, I know that coilovers a detectable, can you just get them engineered and then they aren't detectable?

Im assuming that you mean defectable not detectable?

If so, the short answer is yes, as long as the coilover is within Australian standarda, which the YellowSpeed's are.

In saying this, after working in the suspension industry for about 8 years all up I am yet to see a vehicle come to our store with a defect notice for coilovers (that's not to say it doesn't or hasn't happened)

Hope that helps a little, if you need more info shoot me a PM.

    Cheers Josh

lol, sorry man, at least it wasn't one of those iPhone auto corrects where you might have been corrected into saying you like fat chicks with hairy arm pits or something.

At least I was nice about it.

    lol.

    Never used Yellow Speeds before
but i can vouch for BCs
some members of JDMST uses them and most of my mates do too
never had a problem going low, etc but as Wholesale have said,
they can get noisy after bout a year of use (common problem in coilovers)
i find that the plastic ring that sits between the coil and the top hat itself wears out and snaps
allowing the coil to be in contact with the hat itself creating noise during compression and rebound

    on my 2nd set
i needed stiffer coils so i ordered new ones and donated my old ones to my bro

I'm going to try Yellowspeed's, Wholesale Suspension is my local dealer, and i trust them, plus it can't hurt to try something new haha.

Thanks for your review Dang, how many k's did it take for the top hat ring to snap, can you estimate?

Love your mirage by the way

about half way down, you see the top hat of the spring and the plastic ring/cup that sits between them

another tip, dont use the strut top nuts that come with your coilovers, use your stock ones
