    .... Correct!

long story short, i wasnt prepared to spend the money required to get the s2000 to a level i was happy with, with just the exterior parts alone it was gonna cost me $12000 not inc fitting, painting or shipping. then interior, motor etc

dont get me wrong, it was a stupidly nice car but im more after somthing abit more affordable, cheaper maintaince, cheaper parts, cheaper insurance, so im sure u can understand why i made the choice to part with the s2000
    thanks!

    Another EK, Mr Mullens?

    At first I was like

    But then I was like

Just as I was thinking of how your AP1 could have turned out... you post up with another EK. Madness!

Trying to understand your logic dude. LOL. Ok, so you built up a great all round K20 EK that:
    -handled nicely
    -went great
    -looked cool

You then sold (how long after you had finished?), and moved up to an AP1:
-did the basics, had some fun at the track and on the street, and had plans to achieve greatness..

Then you sold it off and purchased another EK chassis!

Damn. LOL. In any case dude, I'm sure this car will turn out Awesome. Good progress so far!

    thanks!
    exactly how i feel.

ce28 $3400 and xyz months of delivery time
    tires $1000
amuse front $1800 and xyz delivery time
    painting amuse front $??
    coilovers $1300+
fitting wheels+tires in the s2k to get tires put on.. lol no comment
    labour $??

probably $6000+ just to get the average carsales s2000 to my minimum standard
not to mention how hard it is to actually find a clean unmolested grand prix white one.

and the list goes on. which is why i opted for an ep3 lol.

    [QUOTE=ATMOSR;1179541]*snip*QUOTE]

LOL! yeah if i was more of a patient person im sure it could have been pretty rad

-actually the suspension that was in it was pretty horrible
    - there is nothing quite like the suprise factor
    - it looked ok

um was a few months, bit of a long story about not being happy with the car, situation arrised where i had an oppatunity to sell the car. So i honestly didnt know if id like it but i thought id at least give it a go and figured "yeah ill prob loose money but idk unless i try it"

besides the money side of things, i didnt really feel comfortable at the track, like with the tyre and suspension set up it was pretty solid but it didnt really feel right.

i rather be a happy person in a civic and still be able to do the things i want then be unhappy in a s2000 and have a 'better car' dont get me wrong if money wasnt an issue i sure would have loved to keep it but hey everyone has their limmits

I guess owning civics (eg, ek, 2 ef's and now a 2nd ek) i feel more at home in one, i know my way around them alot better, and like that they can be imo nice but still be quite under the radar

thanks bud i hope i can produce somthing rad So far so good i guess lol

haha i spent alot more then 6k and didnt really get much in return lol

as long as ur happy with what u have, thats all that matters imo EP3r's look like great cars, plus with the amazing NPR3 gear box and lots of good K20a mods on the market u really cant go wrong
