    Whiteline Suspension

    Hey all,
I'm thinking about getting a new suspension set up - just something 'entry level/streetable'. I've been having a look around at the common Jap brands, but also came across Whiteline. Does anyone recommend this brand or currently have it in their car?

I've had Whiteline on the GT-R, the complete full works set-up (the lot, sways, everything). It was so damn crashy on the road I went to Minto to complain but never got any money back. Insanely crashy on the street and funnily way too soft on the track. It was just totally wrong. Install wasn't easy too, the hammers came out (installed by Powerplay). I'll never ever touch their crap ever again.

Haha..wow Justin, that's a pretty strong comment. Justified I'm sure though. I'm just looking at their stuff cause I think it's a bit cheaper (not sure though) and I know of a couple of people who said it was alright.

It's funny, all the people I know who have had Whiteline gear either really loved it or really hated it, there's no middle ground.

you can't expect a refund when the items aren't faulty, they just have pure bad quality.

i had a rear whiteline sway bar and castor kit on my last car,, not bad, fitments were good... but i guess for something as simple as strut and sway bar, they're fine but try and stick with some reputable brand when it comes to coilovers (if budget allows of course).

My s14a comes with the full whiteline suspension kit when i first got her. To be honest, i think they are pretty good. The car's rather well balanced and not too crashy on street.

Interesting. Whiteline stuff tends to be very good, a lot of their parts are other brands re-branded though; ie. Selby Swaybars. Granted I've only bought bushes, a strut brace and a swaybar from them. I would go elsewhere for coilovers though. Tein ftw.

Sway bars, urethane bushes and braces are fine, heard the suspension kits are a bit soft.
Iv'e been happy with my sway bars
