Double post Mr.Fox, otherwise car is looking really fresh now!
Yesterday I had 2 dudes detail the car @ Zen Garage. These guys are about to get their detailing business going. $150 they charged me and took both of them all day (4hrs!). That's about 3.5hrs more work than I ever put into washing my car! Very happy with the work done. If you're keen call Faith on 0401 643 703.
Wash out the back.
Detailing in the garage.
Final touches.
They cleaned the engine bay too.
Looking super clean!
Wheels have never been so clean (shame about the gutter rash I know... wasn't me!).
One thing I hated was all the dark scratches from fingernails hitting the paint at the door handles. All gone!
Never been so clean!

Looks schmick after the detail bro! Where'd you get the ralliart radiator plate thingy from? I want one but in black! haha
Nice clean. The clutch shudder goes away over time. Used that same Exedy Organic on an Evo 6 & it got better after a while. Was shuddering/annoying as you described initially. Took 10-15k from memory. Quite nice afterwards.
those guys doing the detail were super friendly.
will defs be hitting them up in the coming weeks
your car is incredibly neat j-fox love it!

$150 bucks for detailing?! what a bargain JF! looking super duper clean!
Cheers peeps. Here's an update:
Dropped in to JDMyard today, spotted these right away. Love at first sight. My babies. ADVAN Neovas in 255/35/18.
I went for Rays duraluminum lugnuts. Old school cool.
I really had my heart set on some custom gloss black CE28's in 9.5 +22 rear and +12 front but the 8 week wait put me off so much that I scoured Australia for a decent set of wheels. I found these Rays Gramlights 57DR's in semi gloss black for sale through OTR Motorsports in Victoria in 18x9.5+22. A quick phone call (great service!) and they were at JDMyard in 2 days.
Old vs. new. Will miss the BBS wheels. I do love them (will be keeping them!).
See that big bolt? It had to go (relocated further back). From my experience with Neovas on the Golf GTI I knew they run wider than most. I didn't want to stretch though so I went hard and ordered a set of 255's. That meant that I was locked in to doing some more serious work to make them fit... well not me... David! @ JDMyard.
David lining up the tab.
3 - 2 - 1 cut! PS: PlusSixOne RPRSNT!!!
David attacking the guard from all angles, here he's rolling the lip FLAT.
Bolt gone, awesome job Dave.
Dave also shaved the rear bumper bar to ensure no rubbing at all.
In this shot you can see the bolt relocation, well... zip tie love FTW.
How she's sitting.
So different to the OEM BBS'. She's higher at the rear for some reason. You can see from the chassis rails to the ground she's way out of whack. Will be lowering the rears half an inch ASAP.
57DR's flexing concave.
Sincere thanks to Advan, OTR Motorsports (who have come on board as JDMST sponsors after I twisted their arm!!!) and Dave at JDMyard.

Would of loved the CE28s in the same colour and size but these are looking good too.
Nice work!
However I don't really feel those gram lights on this evo 9. Much prefer those factory BBSs....
those wheels are brasher approved. Nice.
Will look heaps better once I get the stance right!

gram lights look HOT on this!!! Looks so purposeful and IMO a better choice than CE28N...yes, it would have looked great too but something about the 6 spokes, matte black and fat rubber makes it look so tough!! love it
Still have to pop into Zen when I have the chance JF to check this out! Havent seen it in the flesh yet!
tuff! and daves hair!?!
