    Looking good mate.

Im suprised the car made another 30wkw on the same boost just by changing the tuner.

When you getting it on e85? Thats when shit gets real.

Nice car mate, good pickup. Good upgrade over the DC2R .

On another note, I dunno how people can map switch between E85 and 98. I had a hard enough time flushing out the 98 before I got tuned for E85. I drove it with the fuel light on for about 70km, then we drained out what we could, and when were topping up with E70. It would still come up with a crappy blend when we test the content. Even when it looked like it was E70ish, you'd get back to the car the next morning, test it and the 98 would have blended and fucked the ethanol content again.

IMO, either use E85 daily or use fuel composition sensor (dunno if you can do that on the stock ECU though).

Always loved the Evo, but secretly was hoping you'd get an STI coupe
Still can't wait to see what you do to this thing.
Have you still got the back seats in? ha ha

Congrats on MotorEx and showcased btw, looks like you and the team put on a good show.

Absolutely agree with you there. I'd only run E85 with a Flex sensor & proper aftermarket ecu (Haltech etc). The ethanol content @ Caltex varies throughout the year & if you don't have a versatile ECU, it's just not ideal/safe. Driving around with a bunch of jerry cans in the boot isn't exactly practical either. I'm surprised at the amount of people that recommend E85 on flashed ecu's/pfc's etc when the only way to have ensure it's consistency/effectiveness is weighing your car down with extra fuel or limiting your range with a barrel of fuel sitting @ home.

Washed car (initiation = done, we know each other intimately now). Updated pics:

    Borrowed wheels.

Few stone chips here and there (to be expected, right?).

    Nice and clean.

OEM seats are nice and in great condition.

    PS:

    Yucky. Want to remove this.

No comparison. They're completely different beasts. Get your bum in both and you'll see. EVO comes on song so much earlier than the GT-R but when the GT-R comes on song it's animal.

I wouldn't be too surprised as the car wasn't tuned by Indy, just put up on the dyno. The extra power came from mods + a tune. Re: E85? Not even slightly tempted! Just love being able to stop into any BP or Shell.

Nice car JF. Although, I remember talking to you at Zen and you were saying that evo's were the ugliest cars haha. Quick though.
Needs some exterior parts! I wonder if an AP2 S2K lip would fit onto that bar! Looks like it could by the shape lol

I agree, damn silly place. Hate the boost gauge too. I'm thinking to remove the gauge all-together and hide the EVC out of sight.

Zi from JDMyard has the DC2R - no idea if he's selling it, or not. His fave car in the entire world is the DC2R though. I'd say he'd be keeping it for a little while. Re: Plates, everything I like is taken! Luck has run out by the looks of it!

I still think it's a damn ugly car (VERY far from "beautiful"). I much prefer the 5/6 shape, it's ugly, but purposefully ugly, short and muscly like an angry bulldog. The 7 shape and up just looks too long and narrow for my liking, very much a pedestrian lancer with a massive wing.

Regarding parts. Seems like EVERYONE is buying Rexpeed carbon bits, interesting as they're all replica bits. I've hunted down some Ralliart "shrek ears" mirrors but the guy is asking for thousands of dollars for them... lots of stuff has become super rare it seems (sad as it's still a fairly new car?!).

I was, but I bailed out of it. Zi and I were going halvers and we pulled out. I'll still get one, later when the hype has well and truly died down.

Looking very neat & tidy. You did well. Apart from the boost gauge & small interior changes, any plans for the exterior? Different wheels perhaps & the coilovers you already mentioned. Other than that, it seems quite well sorted.
