I've been driving since 2011 but didn't get into the scene until 2016. 1 year of driving a modified vehicle taught me more common sense than the average Joe as I'm not afraid to take initiative (turning into busy intersections, round-a-bouts, etc.). But in terms of skill I would be sitting in the lower end of the spectrum, a few months ago I took a corner too hard and over-steer'd nearly wrecking my car.
Since I drive an AWD, I panicked and had the mindset of driving a RWD so I slammed on the brakes, wasn't until after that incident I started researching more into controlling an AWD and found out the best way was to either lift off the accelerator and correct the wheel or add on power to correct the body and drift your way out. I still may be wrong.
