Ya the bonnet was a nice addition to the Re-A theme you had going. I probably would of done a V-Mount as well, at least he used top notch parts and didn't cheap out on the FMIC and CAI.

I don't really have any plans atm tbh I think its great the way it is, i don't plan on adding any power to it as like yourself I want to keep it reliable and its plenty fast when you put the foot down. Just going to maintain it and keep it looking great Everything still runs perfect starts easy and runs nice and cool.

Can i ask what oil you used as Ive never owned a rotary before and keep getting mixed opinions on what to use :/

Any other tips as well in regards to maintaining and keeping her healthy would be much appreciated also.

Looks great mate.

HPR 30 is what most of us rotary guys use.
If you don't know what's currently in it and it needs a change or top up, dump what's in it and flush it with some kerosene, let it drain out completely and fill up with fresh oil..
Its never a good idea to mix oils

I used Castrol GTX. Same as what Mazda dealerships use for RX8s.

Either go mineral or a good fully synthetic. I would not use a semi-synth.

here is some info iv googled about oils used by various Jap rotary tuners... i use Royal Purple HPS 10w40

RE-Amemiya
- 10w40 (turbo)
- 0w30 (NA)

Fujita Engineering (FEED)
- 15w50 (turbo?)
- 10w40 (RX8, so im assuming it would be for NA applications?)

FAM Speed
- 15w50 (not specified)

R-Magic
- 15w50 (not specified)

Car Craft (CC)
- they use royal purple for transmission but dont specify the engine oil

Knight Sports
- 5w40 (superior performance?)
- 10w50 (original performance?)

In case anyone is interested I sold this car a few years back due to unfortunate circumstances

I recently tried tracking it down as I wanted to offer to buy it and have sadly found it.
