Roughly around 1000 kg, you get individual throttle bodies as stock, an lsd, vvt, 165hp, lsd, 4 seats. Would've probably saved alot of money owning that car, seeing as aftermarket parts aren't that readily available for the car and it would be a great daily driver. Just own it, drive it, have fun with it. Way more spacious than an NA, more powerful and roughly as light (with a greater potential for weight shedding).

Might end up selling the NA for an AE111.

And you end up seeking rare parts, or just parts which in turn are rare, as the care is fairly uncommon. It's like parts for my first gen... If I want anything that was an option, I will expect to pay anywhere between $100 (for something small) to anywhere near 1k (for something big)
But it was a good car which had almost everything that needed to be done to it! So no more parts really needed to be added on.
I had no idea why it didn't sell fast..

Been ages since I visited JDMST... Friend just told me about this!

Thanks for remembering my car! As far as I know, she's a former shell of what she used to be, parts scattered amongst the remaining AE111s in Australia. The latest owner to my knowledge has keep her exterior somewhat the same as before. Some of the footwork remains the same but that's about all I know?

Here are some unreleased photos [Thx J.Hui!!!] and favourite old ones

a couple of year ago probably about 3 or 4 i started looking around for sprinters and s13's, and datsuns
spewing i didnt buy the sprinter, their was a nice clean as yellow/black panda sprinter with Watanabe rims 4age and 5 speed manuel for $4200 with 6 months rego.
then when i rang it had been sold, started looking at s13's and datsuns, s13 na sr20de white, coilovers and a skylne gearox, he was asking $5800, bit steep but was worth it, then it fell through and the guy kept it.
I then started getting into more older such as datsun 1200's and 240z's really clean red Zed with black flares, original rims and red interior, manuel, so keen for it, and he was only asking $5000 cash, went and had a look at it and when we got their their was another guy who just bought it, i was spitting chips.

then my mate got his full license and i bought his little blue Datto ute off him for a sweet price of $3800 with rego. perfect.
unfortunately blew the engine, then got it rebuilt as my dad didnt trust me doing it myself, then i cracked the head, sent it to our local mechanic who had a head off an a14 motor out of his sprint car. wacked that in, put a mild cam in and upgraded the Carby to a sidedraft webber, now my little blue was a little beast.

Came to a time where i had spent to much money on it and not getting enough power out of the A12 1.2 carby engine, looked at doing an SR like my mate Nathan's coupe, but would have cost me way to much and simply didnt have the money, sold the car to a young appremtice. waited about 9 or so months and then bought the Green Machine S14, and for now it is my daily.

i would do anything to get another Datto in the condition of mine though, original paint, slight rust, reliable engine, and the best interior ever, black with rectangle dash, none of the ugly brown colour.

Will hopefully get that little 1200 back one day or be bold and get a RED ZED, red on inside and out.
