NSX's are so cool. I'd love to own one one day..Refresh + LightTuned = Super Cool.
keen to see how this progresses.

..when i had my DC2R, my mechanic owned a NSX. he loved it but mentioned how heavy and inefficient a few of the parts were, including seats, stereo, outside B-pillar trim and exhaust manifolds. a quick look on the fujitsubo website confirms significant power and weight savings can be achieved just with replacement of the cast exh mani. food for thought

Yes in dismantling the car I've found lots of items that will be changed out for lighter ones. B pillar trims and side air ducts are definitely some of them... also the bumper supports can be changed for aluminium ones.

Awesome work. You got balls to strip a NSX haha.

I'm dreaming of this car, but sadly it's way too far from what i can buy.

Balls? No, probably just insane. Haha, in all seriousness though, it's actually a very good car to work on. Most fasteners are bolts & screws, there are very few horrible plastic clips and the ones that are used seem to come apart without breaking :-)

For example, the dashboard itself is held in with 6 x 10mm bolts. Lovely and simple!

Back yard mechanics all the way! Same philosophy I had with my GTR

Great car and an inspiration the amount of love and care I can see going into it. Can't wait to see where this goes!

    Thanks guys

Cleaned some interior parts ... not the most exciting thing but definitely satisfying to remove 22 years of dust ingrained in the vinyl.
