Epic colour choice, and awesome read. I know the feeling of missing that Nissan life as well, sold my Sil80 for an 08 STi.. Great car, but not me..

Thanks man! Look forward to getting it out in the sun once this miserable weather gives out. Every reason you have for selling them ends up being the same things you miss the most haha, vicious cycle!

Wow great array of cars you went through, it's good to see that you've got your S14 again
I think I messaged you on gumtree when you were selling the S15, I was asking about the rim specs if I can recall hahaha

So loving the new paint I was obviously missing having something to roll on other then R34 Stockies. I was really torn with wheel choice, it's one of those make or break calls and with the fresh paint I wanted to make sure I got it right.
Initially I had a wish list consisting of
    SSR SP3
    Work CR2P
    Rays TE37V
And then again I thought about how well the Meisters complemented the car. After that it was pretty much over, a set of S13P Meisters, gunmetal face, anodised bronze lip and gold rivets.

The sizing was a little more aggressive then previously
    F 18x9 +18R
    R 18x10 +18O

The boys at bob Jane were able to get them fitting under the guards pretty well

The wheel themselves I'm in love with, a bit on the fence about the colour though, feedback welcome!

So a little bit has happened over the past few weeks, I picked up some Dmax Corners

They look great, but I didn't think they really flowed well with the headlights, so I was back on to streeter to chase up a set of them, currently waiting delivery.

I went and got the car tinted, I went 20% and I'm pretty pleased, very drivable and also quite dark

I went and bought a snow foam kit so I can protect the fresh paint from any wash marks left by more traditional methods

Cleaned up I gave the car a gentle polish and wax, turned out nice I used the Mcguiars ultimate compound and carbonara wax for this.

After that I went to Nulon Nationals with a few mates, great day and plenty of quality examples on show

I was lucky enough to pick up a set of genuine ganadors too, unfortunately the plug has been removed from the back so I'm in the midst of working out a wiring solution, until then they've been painted and fitted

And that's about where I'm at!
Just waiting on a few more goodies then I'll be pretty pleased with the exterior of the car and move onto bigger things.

Here's a few photos I took on my D3100 before my ganadors arrived
