    Kanjo Style documentary

Cool docco on a group of guys still running the Kanjo loop, definitely worth a watch (especially for the honda guys of course).
    Found it on JNC: http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2014...ms/#more-33361

It's great, says a lot of things very well that need to be said. I just hope the video doesn't influence a tonne of "kanjozoku wannabes" like they have in the US, running window nets, hockey masks and straight pipes.

Does raise some excellent points, and looks like a shitload of fun.
Kinda sad there was no footage of them actually racing

    Here's a not-so-shit version with actual racing:

It's not 1080P with unecessary filters/visuals, but is 100 times better.

I don't think the video I posted was that shit.
Despite the romanticised nature of it, it has a pretty good historical run-down of the culture surrounding the loop by guys that have been there the whole time, while documented in 2014.

On the other hand, your video (2009) is of the kiddies that came along in the late 2000's thinking they were sick ****s weaving between traffic at 10pm at night with "light tuning" and caused the police to clamp down on it.

It used to be about 3-am high speed runs, not "look how much I can piss off a bunch of taxi drivers trying to earn a living".

And the whole chasing a cop thing was fucking ridiculous, if the dickhead had've actually blown past the cop I might have been impressed, as opposed to them pussying out and cutting the camera while their friend gets pulled over.

So what is it now? In that 2014 video? Just driving along pissing off cops?

I thought it was a bunch of old farts reminiscing about the good old days. Much the same as a lot of Japanese automotive culture, but at least they went into detail about the history.
