    s15 upgrading turbo

    hey guys

So im looking at upgrading my turbo on my s15 currently got a t28 bb on it .I've been reading and searching google for quiet some time power goal is 220-240 with a responsive and reliable setup that will replace the stock turbo and look fairly stock to the eye. Also dont want to be running to much psi and want to run either 17-18psi .The turbos that i have in mind are gt2860rs (disco) hks gt-ss 5130b .

    mods currently on car
    s15 spec r jdm
    3inch full zorst
    blitz spec r id 3
    hks intercooler
    poncams
    tomei ras
    bc springs
    t28bb
    greedy intake + pod
    koyo rad
    split fire
    irdium bkr6eix-11
    z32 afn
    walbro 255
    nistune

any suggestion on maybe a different turbo ?

ahah yeah only touching 178kw tuner believe it was a blocked cat or something. I checkd was a 2.5 and got a hi flow cat checked cooler piping for leaks none r there got new tms bov changed fuel pump again car seems to be hitting like a brick wall or something and just cuts out. Took it to another tuner and he believe its my turbo.

that was one of my first choices but been reading around and have seen few dyno charts they seem to be laggy but only good thing is they pull to redline.

    Trust/GReddy T518Z, with an 8cm rear housing.

Amazing turbo, solid response and mad mid-range punch.

I was in a similar situation to you, have a read of this as well.. http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/show...o-many-options
