    It is JDMST after all right? people take their cars to shops to change their light bulbs and spark plugs...

    Anyhow, the point I was trying to make is for the price of a new 2871R there are better turbos out there in the same price range that offer similar response but even more power.

    I've got an idea, how about people stop bickering and let the OP go and do some research, then make up his own mind and not be led around like a little sheep.

    i agree that Trust/GReddy T518Z, with an 8cm rear housing is really good choice. We had like 20k miles on it with no problems.

    Personally I would go the Hypergear turbo with billet comp wheel. Second choice 2871R.
