    Import or buy locally?

    Hello everyone,

I am interested in buying a Toyota Levin AE111 BZ-R or BZ-G, but I'm not sure if it's worth importing one from Japan or waiting for one to pop up for sale locally in Sydney.

With my budget of $8-9k it looks possible to import a nice version if J-Spec's numbers can be believed.

    All advice is greatly appreciated.

I think you should import the car from Japan and in such way will save your money. Because when the sale will start in Sydney the price might be higher because of tax, transportation issues, etc.

    Hope it works for you!
