Night vision is important so I'd recommend that. Stay away from LED or any other types of plug and play kits.

and just recently a Nissan Cube Z11, its wifeys car till I get my licence back (uncooperative with officer = 24 month ban..sux )
have owned a few cars and used to write for Hot4s Magazine (had a camry that was modified at the time.)
Now wife and I are Nurses, serving the public and Pimping our Cube..

haha, I mentioned the same thing to my wife, but she didn't want them, idk how but she likes that old timey amber dim, she says it's like the car is waking up, (I say it looks like its about to die)
Hahaha well that's a first.
She won't think that after running over/into something/someone at night, which the headlights didn't illuminate. Then you can be all "I told you so!" and put some nice HID projectors in.
These would be nice (Mini D2S, RHD, square lens and shroud of your choice).
I'd grab some Denso slim (DLT Fastbright if you want to go cheap) ballasts and Philips 85122 bulbs.
