Aww, I thought you were making the Silvia look good.
Regardless of customised/personalised plates, yellow looks shithouse ugly.
Although, looking forward to seeing final fitment of the SSR's

Haha. Well i'll post up some comparison pics. IMHO larger plates look better on the car and I don't care what colour they are .

    Lets voting!

15 inch SSR Meshies? Going for the lowdown, period correct, early 90's Japanese drift look?
    Unique!

    Look forward to the pics!

Yeah I wanted to do something like that. I often prefer wheels like that over the other direction i could go which is 17/18 stagger.

Work so far, which is not much due to me going to the pub and hanging out with my mates after work most of the week.

Frount mount painted black and fitted. Piece of cake, I made this kit (apart from the hotside pipe that goes down to the cooler, my mate gave me that off a Hybrid kit) and I am rather proud of it. Black just for stealth, might as well paint it while it's out I thought.

    Stealthy!

Got the catback in, got to cut and weld the frontpipe this arvo to suit it. I didn't have a bolt in OEM length catback before, it was a bit shorter, so the home made front pipe was a bit longer than the normal OEM length.

Put my crystal tail lights in already as well (easy job ).

I got a 47mm radiator which will go in this weekend, an IAP seat rail which it turns out doesn't fit my Brix seat, so I'll weld on some extra tabs and drill it to suit then fit it.

Got my Nardi Classic 33cm to put in, on a knock off hub replacing the Personal 34cm wheel I had before.

Then it'll be onto the suspension, I'm making new rear toe arms out of OEM parts this weekend, replacing my driftshop toe arms. My rear upper arms will be going back in as is though (whiteline adjustable ones). Putting in my new front swaybar and some chassis braces as well (all taken from my 180sx in Japan). I've got a fat 30 something mm front sway, and front, middle and rear underbody braces to put in . I'll change the castor rod mounts too, mine are a bit bent and I have a good pair in the shed .

Next week my 7/5kg springs will arrive for my coilovers and I'll fit them. I always thought I had 8/6kg springs in my HSDs but i measured the wire and did some calcs and it turns out i have 10/8. No wonder it was a touch on the stiff side haha.

My 15s won't be ready just yet so my PIAA 17x9 +20s will go back on the car for now.

After that round the next round of mods will be:
15x8.5/9 SSR FM wheels (out the back waiting for polishing/paint)
    Direzza tyres (ordered)
Origin boot lip spoiler (in the shed)
Vanquish roof spoiler (in the shed)
Repair/respray front lip (will do at the same time as the roof/boot spoilers)
Clear headlight covers (in the shed)
Clear front indicators or will polish the orange ones up, not sure yet
    New gear boot
New door trims (Bride material possibly)
Bride Xax passenger seat (I have the seat and rail but I'm still not sure if I'll fit it)

Did some more stuff, i bought this IAP super low rail, it went no where near fitting a Bride Brix so i did a bit of modding.

    Starting rail.

    Cut the welds.

    Take him apart.

Drill new holes and weld it back together. I moved the seatbelt mount, I thought it was in a stupid spot so i moved it back to the same place it is on my passenger side Bride rail.

    Done .

Put my crystal tails in last weekend, quick job . Ignore the standard rear arms and crap offsets haha. That's blue slip mode .

And this evening, put in my wheel, and obviously the seat is in on the rail too now .

The wheels on the car are actually sold, they are just awaiting pickup.

When my coilover springs arrive i'm putting my other wheels back on and then a few weeks after the meshies will be on . Just don't feel like putting the car up, doing the arms, then down then up again and do the coilovers etc

    Lazy mode engaged!

P.S. so what was your excuse Locky, parents mode as I recall? No excuses .
